# Uncle Matt's Randomifiers

One X. Every input accounted for.

Uncle Matt's Randomifiers compute a deterministic value, **X**, from a fixed basket of validated market observations. Solana and Robinhood Chain have separate native implementations.

## What the formula does

Each implementation fixes the identity and order of its inputs, rejects invalid or stale observations, normalizes accepted values to exponent -18, and sums them into X. An evidence hash binds the result to the basket.

This is a deterministic formula oracle. It is not a VRF and does not provide cryptographically unpredictable randomness. Applications requiring unpredictable draws must not treat X as that kind of random number.

## Pick one implementation

The Solana design uses 16 fixed Pyth push-feed accounts and a top-level `compute_x` instruction. The Robinhood Chain design uses 69 fixed Hood-native adapters and an EVM `computeX()` view.

The chains do not share accounts, adapters, deployment addresses, or runtime assumptions. Before integrating, verify the target network, deployed program or contract identity, frozen basket, freshness checks, and returned evidence against the maintained chain-specific documentation. An implementation description does not establish that a mainnet deployment is available.

## Access and costs

The published public-good model is open access once live: no Uncle Matt account, allowlist, API key, subscription, Randomifier provider fee, protocol fee, or license fee. Normal chain fees and third-party RPC costs can still apply.
